Darren McLaughlin
Congregational Care Minister
Darren McLaughlin and his family have been at Arcola since November 2019. He and his wife Joy, along with adult sons Sean and Tim, and HS Senior Heather, have lived in South Riding since 2000. Active in other Arcola ministries, Darren felt a calling to be a Congregational Care Minister beginning in 2021, praying with and helping people in need or in crisis. For Darren, serving is an absolute honor, and helping to advance God's kingdom (despite his imperfections) is a humbling and rewarding experience. Darren loves the outdoors, and enjoys hiking, kayaking, and camping.
