God Sightings

During Vacation Bible School in the Summer of 2011, we encouraged he children to look for “God Sightings” throughout the week and share them each morning. We were delighted by stories of children seeing God in the midst of the everyday: while sharing an ice cream cone with Grandma, while splashing in the pool with friends or while taking their dog for a walk. Are you curious and maybe a bit anxious to see and feel the presence of God in your life? We praise a God who is present in times of grief and in times of gladness. He works in the miraculous and in the mundane, but His work is never insignificant.  Open your eyes. Be still and know. You might be surprised to find that the glory of God is just outside your window.
