Holy Thursday Chancel Drama
On Thursday, April 21 the FLN Choir will present a chancel drama with music, "From the Table to the Cross" in the Great Room. "From the Table to the Cross" tells the passion story of Christ's sacrifice for us on the cross, beginning with the preparations for the Last Supper and ending with his crucifixion. It reminds us that the joy and excitement of Palm Sunday was quickly replaced with the horrible events of that week--which we must pass through to arrive at the triumph of Easter.
A light supper consisting of an assortment of soups and bread will be served in the Great Room at 6:30 pm, and "From the Table to the Cross" will begin at 7:15 pm. Please plan to attend this service . . . your Easter may be all the more meaningful to you if you do.
