The Bandette
The Bandette is the newest addition to Arcola's musical family. (They thought about "Baby Band" but then thought better.) This group leads the music at the 9 am worship service three Sundays each month. "Led" by Geoff Gay -- like anybody could lead this bunch! -- the Bandette is an ever-changing group featuring the piano, guitar, harmonica, drums, and vocalists. Musically, the group has been ranging (wandering aimlessly) from contemporary Christian to Johnny Cash to stuff right out of the "Faith We Sing" book. The Bandette is anxious to give everyone a shot at singing, playing and joining in the fellowship. If you play an instrument, sing or like to talk and laugh a lot, come join them!
