Music at Arcola Church
Psalm 95:1-2 — Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
Music is an important part of the worship at Arcola Church. We have a Children's Chime Choir, a Youth Choir, a Youth Praise Band, B. Attitudes Band and the FLN Choir. The different groups provide a variety of music to the congregation.
This past Spring, the church music ministry presented its first multi-generational musical, High Cotton (see picture above and click here for more), a production of The AYC and the FLN Choir. The musical was a huge success. A DVD version of High Cotton is available in the Narthex.
