Care Ministry

Arcola Church's Care Ministry offers care for those in our congregation and community. Whether you are ill, homebound, hospitalized or need support while dealing with a life crisis — we are here for you. Communication is a key part to our Care Ministries, so if you know someone in need, or your are in need, or if you are interested in becoming a volunteer in these areas, please contact our Chair of Caring Ministry,
Lisa Korhnak.

Care at Arcola Church consists of the following:

Angels on Call provides emergency, short-term or new mommy/daddy care in the form of meals, transportation, childcare and household chores.

Health and Wellness provides health education, blood drives, speaker and support groups, fitness classes and a Parish Nurse.

Prayer teams include a Sunday Morning Prayer Warrior Group or an Email Prayer Chain Group. We will pray for you!

Gifts of Care provide cards of encouragement, baby blankets and prayer quilts.

Visitations are provided to those who are hospitalized, homebound or unable to attend worship services.

Counseling is available to those going through a life change or crisis.

Care Resources is a list compiled to help you find guidance through books, websites, videos and organizations (currently under construction).

Blue Christmas Worship Service is a special worship service in December that remembers our family members and friends that have passed away.
