Care Ministry

The Mission of this team is to embrace our Arcola church family with caring, prayer and support. This ministry is responsible for the care and well-being of our entire church family. Whether you need a meal or prayer, this team is ready to help. For more information about this group contact Lisa Korhnak.

Angels on Call Ministry Team
Arcola Church uses lay ministry teams to serve the church family members in a variety of ways. The Angels on Call (AOC) Ministry team provides short-term and emergency care for our Arcola Church family. This ministry team provides occasional meals and/or transportation, emergency child care, and household chore help.  In general, the services offered are meant to meet emergency and short-term needs. If you or your family need help, contact AngelsonCall@arcolachurch.org.

Health Ministry Team
This team actively supports the Arcola church family in several strategic areas to encourage their health and well-being. The team is responsible for blood drives, planning for the purchase and implementation of our AEDs, and planning for CPR training for the church leadership and other interested members of our Arcola church family. Our Parish Health Nurse also plans regular times for blood pressure monitoring. If you would like to know more about this team, contact Carolyn Balcom.

Prayer Team
This team meets each Sunday morning at 8:30 am to pray for the Pastor, our Sunday school teachers, and leaders of our church as well as any prayer requests that have been submitted during the week. If you are interested in joining this team or knowing more about it, contact Marcie Grimes.
