The AYC (Arcola Youth Choir)
Middle and Senior High School Youth sing in the AYC. The music selection is upbeat and varied. There’s more talking and laughing going on at practice most weeks than singing! The youth have a wonderful time, and everyone is welcome. The AYC practices Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 pm in the Great Room, and sings in church at either the 9 am or 10:30 am service (or both) once a month, plus on special Church holidays. We could NEVER have too many young people participating in this choir! (And a few guys wouldn’t hurt, either!)
This fall and winter, members of the AYC will be taking on leadership roles in the production of the Chime Choir's Christmas musical, "The Legend of the Christmas Queen" - - direction, musical direction, choreography, set design and construction, costume design and construction, and other production elements.
