Sharing at Arcola Church
Arcola’s Sharing Ministry touches both our Arcola church family and those outside our walls. In Matthew 22:37 & 39 Jesus tells us to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind . . . [and to] Love others as much as you love yourself.” Thus, we are committed to sharing God’s love by reaching out in service, prayer, and support to all, near and far.
Sharing operates in conjunction with each of the other Arcola Ministries, e.g. Connection in support of Praising, through our Greeters/Ushers and our Hospitality and Refreshments teams. The Events Team ministry supports all ministry areas through serving others at major church events to include visitor and new member dinners, community dinners, our Gingerbread House night, and Breakfast with Santa. Our Outreach Mission Teams serve the needy locally and globally.
