Senior High Youth

The purpose of Arcola Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who Praise the Lord, Learn His teachings and Share His love through service to others. 

Sunday School
The Senior High Youth meet for Sunday school during the 11:00 am worship service in Ruth Hall throughout the school year. It typically follows the sermon text for that Sunday.

Youth Fellowship
The Senior High Youth meet for learning and fellowship multiple times throughout the month.

Youth meeting 6:00 - 7:30
pm in the Chapel. This meeting
          includes dinner, fellowship and a program.

Mission and Service Work
SOME

   3rd Wednesday of each month (need to be 16 to work in kitchen,
   younger can work on serving line) Watch for email to sign up. Leave
   church by 5am and back to church by 9:30 am

Help the Homeless Walkathon
   Each year, the Senior High Youth participate in the Help the
   Homeless Walkathon, in Washington, DC in November.  This helps
   the more than 12,000 homeless people in our area and all the
   proceeds raised are donated to So Others Might Eat.

Arcola Youth Choir (AYC)
All youth are welcome to partcipate in the Arcola Youth Choir (AYC).  They sing intermittently throughout the year; including Christmas, Christmas Eve and Easter. Practices are 6:30 pm on Thursdays in Ruth Hall. For more information, contact Geoff Gay.

Associated Small Groups
AP Motherhood 350
   Led by Julia Riedel and Kathy Zapfel, this group engages moms of
   high schoolers as well as empty nest moms.
